Vision

To build network of powerful, chosen and annointed Christians who support each other in every facet of ministry, while proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 Mission and Purpose

In today’s climate of “mega-churches,” instant evangelists, and overnight pastors, it can be extremely difficult to discern who or what you are partnering with.  It was Jesus Christ himself who ordained and commissioned the seventy-two to be sent out among the people to preach the good news.  It was Christ himself who “commissioned” in the 28th chapter of Matthew.  It was again Christ who separated the three (James, John, and Peter) from the rest of the 12 because of their obedience, faith and commitment to the ministry.   It is for these reasons that we feel it necessary to provide a fellowship for ministers who are not satisfied with being "the other nine."

The truth is that the disciples, and later the apostles, of the new church were prepared to do “greater works."   Our modern day problem is that we ignore the fact that they were prepared.  We immediately assume that all eloquent, friendly, bright, and brave Christians are preachers of the gospel.  This is a myth, and it was this mentality that drove the Apostle Peter to exclaim that we should "make our calling and election sure."   It also drove the Apostle Paul to warn Timothy not to lay hands (ordain) on any man suddenly.  If we would be candid for a moment, we could admit that behind all the million-dollar brick and mortar edifices, are hurting, bound, and sin-sick souls, crying out for the hand of God.  So why then do we see such a lack of miracles and zeal; and an overdose of failed ministries, churches, and projects?  It is a very simple answer when you review the scriptures.  It is what set Timothy apart; it was what set Paul apart, and what Paul told Timothy would “show himself approved”:  to study for the work of the ministry.  We believe some of the key ingredients are to be called, trained, anointed, and finally, sent.

Our organization does not guarantee a certain number of souls won, prosperity, or an increase in ministerial stature; but, we do guarantee that The United Christian Ministers' Association will pray and fast for you and your ministry; and support your educational, credentialing, and ministerial needs.  We do not boast of a building or a budget, however, we do boast of our commitment to train ministry workers in a Godly, professional, and sincere manner.  We will also provide a network for ministries that seek full-time, part-time, or just-in-time ministers.

We strive for perfection in Christ Jesus, and will only allow members into our organization who desire the same.  This ministry is not driven by numbers of any sort, so we are not under any pressure to allow someone of skeptical, questionable, or inconsistent background into this association.  Remember that the reason this organization exists is because we want to create a network of powerful, anointed, and chosen ministers who support one another in every facet of the ministry.  The type of support we provide includes but is not limited to: local/international missions, new churches, revivals, conferences, legal advice and services, and organizational support.  Welcome to your association of ministers, and we look forward to fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ with you, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and the vision of God the Father.

Sincerely,

Elder Dorian R. Williams, Ph.D.
